Geo-Targeted Promotion to Drive Regional In-Store Sales

We created an engaging promotion based around a rebate program supported by a digital ad campaign that ran in key metro areas to engage the target audience and drive in-store sales.

The Big Idea

For Reese, the towing accessory brand, we created a promotional program designed to increase in store activity in 5-6 targeted U.S. metro areas. The promotion was based on the theme of “Go Anywhere. Take Anything.”

To execute the promotion, we produced geotargeted digital ads through Google AdWords and Facebook that featured Reese products along with a special rebate program. The ads, including graphics and video, directed web traffic to a central landing page that we built, which provided the opportunity to learn more about the rebate. Visitors could also enter to win Reese prizes. We administered the sweepstakes and rebate program in turnkey fashion, resulting in increased sales in the targeted metros at 12% year after year.
